See a Problem?
However, page after page of simply numbers has a slight mind-numbing effect on me -- which of course I felt guilty about as I read this book, as I do care very much about the environment. I would have liked to see some more "solution-based" information, but I have an even better understanding of the "problems" now.
As a woman who is childfree by choice, I was also gratified to see that the author places the blame of every other environmental and social issue on the population explosion. I've always felt that was THE most problematic issue facing the world today as well, although beyond not having kids of my own I am not sure what to do about it Ye'Nari Moses rated it really liked it Sep 06, April rated it it was amazing Oct 09, Karishma rated it it was amazing Sep 21, Eric rated it really liked it Nov 05, James rated it really liked it Jul 15, Nathan rated it really liked it Jun 28, Erik rated it really liked it Mar 24, Kim rated it liked it Feb 06, Jenn rated it it was ok May 31, Mark rated it really liked it May 17, Jeff rated it liked it Jan 17, Drew Ringsmuth rated it really liked it Sep 25, Jesus Ortega rated it liked it Jan 31, Julisa Hendrix rated it it was amazing Jun 28, Jennifer marked it as to-read Jan 28, Cholle marked it as to-read Mar 21, Jenna marked it as to-read Mar 27, Nima Shokat added it Jul 25, The Ambrose added it Jan 22, Howard Rauscher added it Mar 02, Tom added it May 04, Kyle added it Oct 04, Erin Reilly-Sanders marked it as to-read Aug 01, Laura marked it as to-read Nov 04, Masha marked it as to-read Jan 21, Quinn added it May 14, Open Preview See a Problem?

The particular line 'We can still repair much of the global damage, restore the environment, change the way we live, increase the ecological capacity of our planet, and create a sustainable future.
I personally am really impressed by the presentation and the way the writer has presented his ideas. Especially when he has stated his feelings and thoughts with the help of facts and figures it really had an appeal and I literally thought it for some days and tried to make some change in my habit. This writer has tried to wrap up the content by writing in a nut shell and stated what should we do and six proposals for urgent focus.
