Their basic premise is sound and the black line masters are good for a classroom situation. There is not much theory in this text, more of a Hands on type of text.

Very good book for the beginning student in multimedia. One person found this helpful. I had no problems with my purchase until, I was assigned to read chapter 7. While reading from one page to the next, I noticed that the text did not match up, on the left I had page and on the right I had page The rest of the chapter 7 , about 30 pages, was not included. This was beyond frustrating to say the least. My copy is missing pages This is a text book for my grad program. I'm sure the content would be helpful to my project if it was The book came exactly as described The content gave me some new insights but the bottom line is it was a grad school required text and thats all that counts I suppose.

Full of barely useful information and way overpriced.

Using the Project-Based Learning Multimedia as a T

Students in my Multimedia Design course really appreciate the author's inclusion of materials they can adapt to their classrooms now. Too many times I, myself, have bought books weighted in theory and short on practical applications. Not so this time. Kudos to you for providing straight-forward information and specific examples.

One suggestion, though, is an update soon. Some of the material has become dated and students will soon lose interest if instructors must constantly explain how what was said in the book is no longer true.
